1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Personal information you disclose to us

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

Personal Information Provided by You. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:
  • uploaded image files (logo files you upload, together with the resized versions we generate from them; stored temporarily and deleted automatically within 1 hour of upload, or within 24 hours if you complete a purchase)
  • payment transaction data (processed and stored by razorpay, we do not directly handle or store card or banking details)
  • email address (in two situations: when you ask us to email your resized pack or a free sample to yourself, and when you provide an address to our payment provider at checkout — we receive that address so we can deliver your pack by email if your browser closes before the download finishes)
  • the file name of the logo you upload (kept alongside the files for the same period, so we can label your download)
Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive information.

Payment Data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you choose to make purchases, such as your payment instrument number, and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All payment data is handled and stored by RazorPay . You may find their privacy notice link(s) here: https://razorpay.com/privacy-policy/ .

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Information Automatically Collected. Some information — such as your IP address, and basic device and browser information — is collected automatically when you visit our Services. We use your IP address to determine your country of origin for two purposes: to display the appropriate local pricing (₹199 for India, $4.99 for international users), and to determine whether we must ask for your consent before enabling analytics. To do this, your IP address is sent to ipapi.co, a third-party geolocation provider, which returns only a country code. We do not store your IP address in our own records beyond what is required for this purpose during your active session. Separately, the analytics and session-recording tools described in section 11 receive your IP address and device information directly from your browser.

2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We process the personal information for the following purposes listed below. We may also process your information for other purposes only with your prior explicit consent.

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

  • To save or protect an individual's vital interest. We may process your information when necessary to save or protect an individual’s vital interest, such as to prevent harm.

3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason (i.e. , legal basis) to do so under applicable law, like with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services to enter into or fulfill our contractual obligations, to protect your rights, or to fulfill our legitimate business interests.

If you are located in the EU or UK, this section applies to you.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR require us to explain the valid legal bases we rely on in order to process your personal information. As such, we may rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:
  • Consent. We may process your information if you have given us permission (i.e. , consent) to use your personal information for a specific purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Learn more about  withdrawing your consent.
  • Legal Obligations. We may process your information where we believe it is necessary for compliance with our legal obligations, such as to cooperate with a law enforcement body or regulatory agency, exercise or defend our legal rights, or disclose your information as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.
  • Vital Interests. We may process your information where we believe it is necessary to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of a third party, such as situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person.

If you are located in Canada, this section applies to you.

We may process your information if you have given us specific permission (i.e. , express consent) to use your personal information for a specific purpose, or in situations where your permission can be inferred (i.e. , implied consent). You can  withdraw your consent at any time.

In some exceptional cases, we may be legally permitted under applicable law to process your information without your consent, including, for example:
  • If collection is clearly in the interests of an individual and consent cannot be obtained in a timely way
  • For investigations and fraud detection and prevention
  • For business transactions provided certain conditions are met
  • If it is contained in a witness statement and the collection is necessary to assess, process, or settle an insurance claim
  • For identifying injured, ill, or deceased persons and communicating with next of kin
  • If we have reasonable grounds to believe an individual has been, is, or may be victim of financial abuse
  • If it is reasonable to expect collection and use with consent would compromise the availability or the accuracy of the information and the collection is reasonable for purposes related to investigating a breach of an agreement or a contravention of the laws of Canada or a province
  • If disclosure is required to comply with a subpoena, warrant, court order, or rules of the court relating to the production of records
  • If it was produced by an individual in the course of their employment, business, or profession and the collection is consistent with the purposes for which the information was produced
  • If the collection is solely for journalistic, artistic, or literary purposes
  • If the information is publicly available and is specified by the regulations
  • We may disclose de-identified information for approved research or statistics projects, subject to ethics oversight and confidentiality commitments

4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

In Short: We may share information in specific situations described in this section and/or with the following third parties.

We may need to share your personal information in the following situations:
  • Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

Third parties we rely on. We use a small number of service providers to run Sizeify. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:

  • Razorpay (payments) — collects your payment details and, at checkout, your email address and contact details. We never see or store your card or banking details. See the Razorpay Privacy Policy.
  • Resend (email delivery) — receives your email address and, as an attachment, the ZIP of your resized logos, but only when you ask us to email them to you or when we deliver a pack you have paid for. This is the only situation in which your logo files leave our servers. See the Resend Privacy Policy.
  • Microsoft (Clarity — analytics and session recording) — receives behavioural data about how you use the site, as described in section 11. Your uploaded logo is masked and is not sent to Microsoft.
  • Plausible (privacy-friendly website analytics) — receives the page you viewed, the site that referred you, and general device and country information. Plausible does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. See the Plausible Privacy Policy.
  • ipapi.co (geolocation) — receives your IP address and returns a country code, so we can show the right price and decide whether to ask for analytics consent.
  • Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on our pages; your browser contacts Google to fetch them.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

International transfers. These providers are global companies, so your information may be processed on servers outside your own country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where we transfer personal information out of the country in which it was collected, we rely on the safeguards offered by the provider, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 1 hour .

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

In practice, that works out as follows:

  • Uploaded logos, the resized files generated from them, and the original file name — deleted automatically within 1 hour of upload. If you complete a purchase, they are kept for 24 hours instead, so that you can return and download your pack again.
  • Email addresses — we keep a record of an address for up to 24 hours after we send to it, solely to enforce a limit of three emails per address per day. That record is deleted automatically once it is older than 24 hours. We do not keep a mailing list and we do not send marketing email.
  • Session recordings — retained by Microsoft for 30 days, except for recordings we mark as favourites and a small random sample, which Microsoft may keep for up to 9 months. See section 11.
  • Payment records — held by Razorpay under its own retention policy, and by us only as the transaction identifiers needed for accounting and to resolve disputes.
  • Server logs — our application logs record delivery events and may contain the email address a pack was sent to. These are retained for as long as our hosting provider keeps them, and are used only for troubleshooting.

6. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

7. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In Short:  Depending on your state of residence in the US or in some regions, such as the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), Switzerland, and Canada , you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information.  You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time, depending on your country, province, or state of residence.

In some regions (like the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada ), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; (iv) if applicable, to data portability; and (v) not to be subject to automated decision-making. If a decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects is made solely by automated means, we will inform you, explain the main factors, and offer a simple way to request human review. In certain circumstances, you may also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information. You can make such a request by contacting us by using the contact details provided in the section " HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE? " below.

We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

If you are located in the EEA or UK and you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you also have the right to complain to your Member State data protection authority or UK data protection authority.

If you are located in Switzerland, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

Withdrawing your consent: If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, which may be express and/or implied consent depending on the applicable law, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by using the contact details provided in the section " HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE? " below .

However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal nor, when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

If you have questions or comments about your privacy rights, you may email us at hello@sizeify.app .

Withdrawing your consent

Where we rely on your consent to process your personal information, you may withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it is as easy as giving it. To turn off analytics and session recording, select Cookie settings in the footer of any page and choose Decline. Your choice is stored in your browser and takes effect immediately: the session-recording tool stops loading and the cookies it set are erased. You can change your mind again from the same place at any time.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it, and it does not affect processing carried out on grounds other than consent. To exercise any other right described above, or to raise a concern, contact us at hello@sizeify.app.

8. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ( "DNT" ) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized . As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.

We do, however, honour the analytics choice you make on this site. If you decline analytics through Cookie settings, we do not load our session-recording tool at all, regardless of any browser-level Do-Not-Track signal.

India

If you are in India, this Privacy Notice is the notice we are required to give you under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). It tells you, in plain language, what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights. For the purposes of that Act we are the Data Fiduciary and you are the Data Principal.

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give by uploading a logo, by asking us to email your files, or by accepting analytics when we ask. We process it only for the purposes described in this notice: to resize and deliver your logo pack, to take payment, and to understand and improve how the site is used.

As a Data Principal you have the right to:

  • obtain confirmation of whether we are processing your personal data, and a summary of that data and of the processing;
  • have your personal data corrected, completed or updated;
  • have your personal data erased, unless we are required to keep it by law;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. For analytics and session recording, select Cookie settings in the footer of any page and choose Decline. For anything else, email us; and
  • have a grievance heard and resolved.

Grievance redressal. If you have a question or a complaint about how we handle your personal data, write to us at hello@sizeify.app with "Privacy" in the subject line. We will acknowledge your message and respond within the period required by the DPDP Act and the rules made under it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India.

Because our service providers are global (see section 4), your personal data may be processed outside India.

11. COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND SESSION RECORDING

In Short: We use two analytics tools to understand how the site is used. One of them records how you interact with pages. Your uploaded logo is masked and is never recorded, and you can turn all of it off.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity, an analytics and session-recording service provided by Microsoft, to understand how visitors use Sizeify. Clarity captures how you interact with our site — such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and the pages you visit — along with your device and browser information, and uses cookies and similar technologies to produce session replays and heatmaps. We use this only to find where the site is confusing or broken and to improve it. We do not sell this data and we do not use it for advertising.

What is masked

Your uploaded logo is a brand asset, so we mask it. The following are masked and are never uploaded to Clarity or visible in any recording:

  • the logo you upload, and every resized preview generated from it;
  • the file name and size of the file you upload;
  • what you type into the email and coupon fields, including the confirmation message that repeats your email address back to you.

To be clear about the limits of this: other text on the page, and the web address of the page you are on, are captured normally. Masking applies to the items listed above, not to everything on the site. We also record a small number of events describing how far you got — for example that an upload started, that the preview loaded, or that a purchase completed. If you apply a discount code, that code is recorded with those events; discount codes are marketing codes and are not personal information.

Cookies used by Clarity

All of the following are non-essential analytics cookies. They are set only once Clarity loads — which, where consent is required, means only after you accept.

  • _clck (set by this site) — keeps the Clarity user ID and preferences for this site. Around 1 year.
  • _clsk (set by this site) — joins several page views into a single session recording. Around 1 day.
  • CLID (set on a Microsoft domain) — records the first time Clarity saw this browser on any site using Clarity. Around 1 year.
  • MUID (set on a Microsoft domain) — identifies unique browsers visiting Microsoft sites; Microsoft uses it for analytics and other operational purposes. Around 13 months.
  • ANONCHK, MR and SM (set on Microsoft domains) — operational cookies used to check and synchronise the MUID identifier across Microsoft domains. Between 10 minutes and 7 days.

Cookie names and lifespans are set by Microsoft and may change; the current list is published in the Clarity cookie documentation.

Cookies we set ourselves

None. Sizeify does not require an account and sets no cookies of its own. We do store two small values in your browser, which never leave your device:

  • sizeify_analytics_consent — remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we do not ask again on every page.
  • sizeify_coupon — carries a coupon code you entered from one page to the next during a single visit.

Plausible

We also use Plausible, a privacy-friendly website analytics service, to count page views and completed downloads. Plausible does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device, and does not track you across other websites. It is always on.

Your choices, and the basis on which we do this

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, session recording is switched off until you accept it. We ask with a banner on your first visit, and we rely on your consent as the lawful basis. If you decline, Clarity is never loaded and none of the cookies above are set.
